FAQs
Can I try bowling before I'm a member?
Yes! Email us at sblawnbowlsclub@gmail.com and we'll set up a time for you to give it a try. Usually we have you drop by during one of the scheduled games; we'll give you a quick how-to and you can play as long as you'd like.
Do I need a partner or team?
Nope! Teams are assigned at random during regular games to give everyone a chance to play with one another.
Do I need to buy equipment?
Nope! We have tons of bowls available for you to use.
When are games? Can I come anytime I want?
We currently are open for drop-in games and practice eight times a week. Once you've been a member for at least three months, you're eligible for key privileges and can come play and practice whenever you want.
10:00am on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday
5:30pm on Tuesday and Thursday
Do I have to wear white?
Only if you want! During regular games, everyone just wears whatever they want. At tournaments, we do ask folks to wear white and/or their club polo shirt. Sometimes we have special events where we wear Hawaiian shirts, green for St. Patrick's Day, etc., but there's no pressure. Come as you are!
